Simulating the (first) wiki-net server manually
Lists of “watching” wikis were added to the two pages face and changes of the ‘wiki-net’, the odd-wiki-center-en, Mattis-Manzel-wiki and on some others. Such lists could automatically be updated using a wiki-net server.
Note that the fact that another wiki is “watched” by a wiki on the pages wiki-net changes or wiki-net faces doesn’t mean that the other wiki is “watching back”. It can do so but it doesn’t happen automatically. Every wiki-community decides for itself about “watching back”. So connections can be “half-” or “full-duplex”.
The connections are confusing to arrange manually even with only a few wikis and keeping the list entries of “watching” wikis up to date is sheer madness - as the wiki-net is (supposed to be) dynamic. Automatisation is needed and possible.
The wiki-net writes a perfect history of itself in the form of the sum up of all pages wiki-net of all wikis that make part of it. The newest - currently valid - day-page “wiki-net” always on top, the older ones following.
The wiki-net server “knows” about all the current little wiki-nets of all wikis. You can draw a nice map of the current state of the wikilandia hive-mind using this data. You can even make a video showing how this mind developed from its very first beginning until today using the histories on all the different pages wiki-net. And pretty likely there is much more you can do with it.
