OpenBusiness

open business

If you are not already familiar with Open Business.cc, it’s an open knowlege commons worth looking at and participating in.

The basic core concepts of Open Business can be found under the idea section:

“Open business is designed to help the little guy along on his journey to spread his idea while creating revenues in the process. In order to sustain a rich innovative global community, access to information and ideas is requisite. The goal of open business is to analyze and explain models by which people can share their knowledge and creativity with others guided by the aligned incentives of profit, individual success, and societal advancement. The operating ethic transcends zero sum capitalism to create opportunities of mutual gain for the individual and her subscribers alike. By granting increased levels of access to information, innovators; be they writers, musicians, computer programmers, journalists, or any form of consultant under the sun, can reap the benefits of advertising their product in a way that is infinitely more pure and true than any thirty second television spot: by allowing the genius of their creativity to sell itself to the customer through use.”

The site also hosts a wiki for co creating a manual of Open Business.

Openbusiness.cc sent out an email today announcing their first in a series of published reports investigating sustainable Open Publishing concepts. This first report looks at how Open Publishing concepts help people maximize dwindling resources. The next report “will cover OpenBusiness strategies more broadly covering sectors ranging from music, video to services.” -SamRose

Hi Sam, hi Mattis and all the other peers here in the SocialSynergy Wiki, who are interested to practise within a wiki an OpenBusiness. Is this the right place to demonstrate and practise, how revenue in the community can be generated, amplified, shared? Or is this wiki more focussed on the theoretical discussion, in which case please point the author and likeminded peers to a well established wiki, ready for realizing new entrepreneurial ideas. The author tags, annotates, and blogs this question and any other contributions on fridemar's blog, where you can find more cues. He asks you at the same time, if you allow WikiBlogging of whole pages for authors on their individual blogs, if the author has only contributed a subset of one page. (compatible with “Under CC’s Some rights reserved). This would be a great timesaver. Thank you. – FridemarPache

Fridemar, sure, this wiki is fine for presenting those ideas, or even working on real world applications, etc. Go ahead and post that here, if you choose to do so. – SamRose

Thank you Sam, so the next step is to publish this page on fridemar's blog, as true WikiBlogging, inviting all other peers to do the same on their own blogs. Each peer can add their own ViewPoint. We two had the same idea on this mighty tool to amplify social oriented creativity, productivity and at last wealth for all interacting peers on each page. From time to time each peer can remove their older versions of wiki blogged pages from their blog to make this procedure more effective. Now each wiki page gets a watchlist for actual and potential webpages, that are connected via StrongLinks, friendly, constructive, attractive, and such content, that allows growth for CreatingAndSharingWealth. We call this for short a WatchList, which is at the same time a WikiPragma. The WatchList is a generalization of TwinPages. To let participate as many as possible peers, the author suggests the style of a SlideWiki. Don’t be shocked, that in this WatchList actually wealth is created, in a transparent and social way. Instead of blindly fighting WikiSpam we recognize, that we live in an AttentionEconomy?, where the wikizen themselves can care for and enjoy the fruits of their work. At the same time the PageMaintainerProblem? is solved, when each wikizen takes the responsability to make those pages, where they are involved mostly. Now comes the salient point: It would be dull, if each peer only cared for their “own” pages. If a peer contributes to another peer’s page in a friendly and constructive way, then their work is much more valuable, as only sticking to the pages, coupled to their own registered domains. Example: the author forwards appropriately registered domain-names on this page, by putting them on the WatchList. When selling the attached Url on the domain market to a buyer, then it is suggested that the Communitywiki:WikiBank earns, say 10% for their escrow-service to handle this and similar transactions. As this could be at the same time a wikizen’s pledge as in my prototyping approach, this makes the WikiBank very attractive for zillions of active wiki contributors. Please feel free to insert the correct links with the right WikiPrefixes and or split this contribution onto several wiki pages, inserting your enrichment, blogging it on your blog. – fridemar

Hi Sam and peers, the author just initiated a FireTrail in wiki-mode, named OpenBusinessWiki. Here we can insert our social annotations and bookmarks. It is an excellent tool, to establish Meatball:StrongLinks with all peers, creating and sharing wealth as OpenBusiness, based on peer activity within the wiki-infrastructure. – fridemar

Please have a look to Meatball:WikiBank. – fridemar

In the sense of OpenBusiness, the author publishes his domains for wiki-based open collaboration:

under DomainsFridemarPache. He invites other peers to do the same, such that we can enjoy together the synergies of this branch of OpenBusiness. – fridemar
