KeithHopper: Having some snags with tweaking my oddwiki css. If anyone’s got any insight, I’m all ears (Mattis?).
My sidebar won’t float on my recent changes page. Happens when you preview your changes, too. I’m assuming it’s the change from one div to another, but it looks like communitywiki.org has the same page structure and it floats fine on rc and preview. Thoughts?
MattisManzel: Hey Keith, man, I’m sorry that I can’t help. I’m all new to css. TheSheep helps me on css problems. Thanks sheep.
KeithHopper: Fixed it! (I think) A little persistence paid off. The oddwiki default css has this h2 clear element in it that was preventing the sidebar from floating (http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_class_clear.asp). I anxiously await the new bug that undoubtedly will be caused by removing that clear:both element.
SamRose: I am still trying to figure out why the Meatball NearLinks don’t work on CollectiveProblemSolving. Also, Keith, I have found the people IRC channel, which is on freenode #oddmuse, to be extremely helpful.
MattisManzel: It’s extremely funny too, sometimes, Keith.
No idea, Sam, why near-links to meatball-wiki don’t work on collective-problem-solving-wiki. A terminology issue, maybe?
