Mark wrote on OddWikChat?: I use a mozilla product called Camino, it doesn’t have the peekko extension. MarkDilley (we might want to use Gabbly? or just plain IRC?)

I copied you in here, Mark from OddWikiChat - I just realize that I made a mistake. People think OddWikiChat page is for chat, heck. I didn’t mean that. It contains information about the chat and is a deep-linked page. That means it is transcluded into pages on other wikis. Deep-linked pages are distributed and the kind of pages one should think twice before changing them. I have to rename to AboutOddWikiChat? or explain it on the page. On the other hand: maybe a little chat on them is not too bad? We could later easily split it into two: the distributed deep-linked page OddwikiChatAbout? and the local talk-page OddWikiChatTalk? (sounds funny in that case, admit). Distributing the talk about OddWikiChat as well would be possible (the difference is there’d be a local Page OddWikiChatTalk? on every single wiki that you can read the whole talk tanscluded into it). But: everybody would have to write every link as a full url on the talk-page to make it clickable in the transclusion, and I think people won’t do that. - Not serious
Just-brain teasing you about the possibilities. We have enough talk-pages.
Peekko, to install the extention you need Firefox 1.5. I think peekko is the “missing link thing” between the gazillions of silent websurfers and the collab-editor/wiki ting level.
wiki-page ==> chat-page ==> gobby-page ==> wiki-page

Well, I get stuck on step #1, I will not be using Firefox any time soon. Thanks for explaining DeepLinking, I like it and if the page gets changed, we wiki it back like you did! Best, Mark
