See the ting-wiki, please.
MattisManzel: I didn’t properly care for this here, sry. Ting is not dead, important. I swapped too early to gobby, which unlike moonedit is open source and cross-platform. Unfortunately gobby is not really ready to work with yet, just almost. We jump back to moonedit now (s23.org, 32123), keeping a server to test gobby (kathigraben.mine.nu, 6552). We started to use VoIP recently along with the tings, which is great. We use teamspeak configured to push-to-talk (which cuts away the dominance of speech, when nobody pushes the talk button there is silence for writing). Install teamspeak, please. The login for teamspeak is in the moonedit document for the ting. It is not published on a wiki. Feel free to join on voice-tings, please.
cool. I can`t really say the ting-thing flopped yet. Later Tom, TheCrypto? and tav exchanged interesting ideas about collaborative editors. It will be on line tomorrow
The ting-wiki I moved from oddwiki to s23 will soon get its own recent changes there. Cool. Yesterday I was still busy on wikicities: nodewiki for university-wikis, adding info about the respective moon-edit pages to the wiki-node of university-wikis. As an example on how I do a wiki-node now see the transitioner-wiki: wiki-node. Ting4 tomorrow 18:00 GMT.
Angela has a way to provoke me in the right moment. I have not only been raging on wikicites today, node-wiki for university-wikis: forum , making up the “ting of universities”, but also promoted the idea on all reachable university-wikis. Cool day. Nice sunset too. n8
Number 4 is on Sunday. It’s strange. Something makes me give a real üpbeat tempo. I just shot off one after the other ting these few days for the first three ones - fast - but it worked I think. Mighty chaos, sure, but things happened.
The generateur poietic kicks me, I which the playful potential of the ascii-art sessions on moon-edit would erupt on it. We’ll try it on sunday after the ting. Anyhow. n8
