MattisManzel: I’m not sure about the comment function. It unneccessarly splits contents. You can do all of that without a comment-function. I think we should lay off creating a predefined hierarchy by splitting text and comments. Let the users decide. Let them put a bar Comments (or Discussion wherever they want or let them create a XYZDiskussion-page but not prescribe. It will turn out better without,
Main:AlexSchroeder: I’m not sure what I should think on this issue. Based on my experience on my own homepage, I think this separation is necessary for people to feel at ease when commenting. I don’t like it, but that seems to be the result of my observation. If you want to disable comments, edit CommentsPrefix? and replace it with an empty page or with DeletedPage.
MattisManzel: Thx. Deactivated comments, I have to search for makeing it work without them. You might be right, Alex, having it titled comment people speak up more likely, eventhough their comment is just as public.
Hm. I wonder what this is. The level of serious work-talk is lower. I like that. It’s due to the wiki-forum. The fact that you see comments there makes it clear that this is for comments too. It’s also an agenda at the moment.
I’d like to be able to make an easy preselection, maybe by tagging. A date-page that has a comment on something in my agenda I’d like to tag agenda, a date-page that has something on how we could develop this blike thingie I’d tag BlikiDevelopement?. Then I’d like to make a page BlikiAgenda? and put something like insert all datepages tagged BlikiAgenda? and voila, you get all the tagged date pages in a reverted chronologial sequence. Same with a page BlikiDevelopement?. It’s a mess first and there is off-topic talk belonging to other tags, but it would at least do some preselection. Reading back on a topic would become decisively more easy. Good stuff will more easily be refactored. Is something like that imaginable?
Maybe one could even tag single contributions on date-pages and distribute them on the respective wiki pages? Holy Chao!
Main:AlexSchroeder: You can insert the result of a search. At the moment these are sorted alphabetically, but on sites such as CommunityWiki the result is sorted by relevance.
