EIC (Editor-In-Chief)

Editing is the process of preparing language, images, or sound for presentation through correction, condensation, organization, and other modifications. A person who edits, especially professionally or as a hobby, is called an Editor.

The EIC is the Top Editor, and he or she supervises not only their own direct editing work but also oversees all other editors and their work. This is done to insure consistency of content, style and management policies.

In comics the most deservedly famous EIC and Publisher of all time is Stan Lee.
