The hive-folks in a tree
category
There is community-wiki: wiki-folks. I start on a tree here. These folks get shell access to the multi-engine wiki-hive if they want to. You can add other people to the tree when you are mentioned in it. Shell access means you can destroy everything. Responsible and sensitive as you are you only add people who
It takes mutual agreement about including someone.
MattisManzel asks agreement to include
(for demonstration, hypothetical - as there is no agreement yet.)
remember carefully that this tree can be built from anybody in it as the root. It is not hierarchical, but inclusive (more like a seaweed that you can pick up by any of its stems, and the rest dangles down - the correct mathematical term for it is root).
It is a circle. It’s not a plain with a trees on it growing in the sky. It’s a forest growing towards the center of a circle.
And as it’s not all quiete as simple we can also exlude by revocating our agreement.
When I for example remove AlexSchroeder as a trusted hive-fellow he is withdrawn his shell-access. But if ThomasWaldmann before had listed AlexSchroeder as a trusted hive-fellow on his homepage Alex would not be withdrawn access. So: two levels. The hive-folks here, and the trust-list on the homepage. It takes full agreement to remove hive-folks from the circle. Positive, the wiki way, assume good faith.
And sure, the others would be able to remove me when all agree.
There is a section on the homepage of everybody who is in the tree called
It maybe seems a bit ridiculous for now as I’m doing this here all alone, it is demonstrational only. For myself as well. See it on MattisManzel.
If I revoccate trust from Alex he’s withdrawn shell access. If Thomas lists him on his my trusted hive-folks he is not withdrawn shell-access. If Thomas and I agree that Alex should be removed he is. If Angela adds Alex to her my trusted hive-folks we all three would have to agree to remove Alex.
This sounds pretty stupid and will pretty likely never be used. But it’s important to show people that this hive is basically wiki, that all have the same chances from the very first moment on and that you either collaborate or move elsewhere, simply said.

Benevolent dictator, god king, what words are these? Are we in the middleages? Cant’t we create a system that the founder could be revoccated trust by the community? Like basically in a democracy?
