The soup of the hiv-wiki-en and soups of neighboring wikis in our wiki-net
The hiv-wiki-en is licking the soup of which wikis?
Manually keep our wiki-net synchronized with changes to the list of included pages soup, please.
Changes to the soups included into this page can not be reflected immediately due to caching. It can take up to several hours to refresh. What probably helps: force a refresh (Firefox: shift + click reload) or click refresh this page circumventing the cache.

one big stone soup
MattisManzel:
A nice metaphor for collab - everybody gives something, all enjoy the result - is the stone soup. CapnDan pointed me to it, thx. I do not know of a similar German tale. Someone does? See en-wikipedia - stone soup.

intentions for renaming pages
MattisManzel:
Certain pages in the wiki-net have to be renamed which unfortunately causes a lot of work.
The current way of naming pages starting with hive, … in the list-wikis has to be changed so that the hive is already specified in the plain name. A few examples:
Currently but not sufficient [en]
It has be be changed to
Or [fr]
which has to be changed to
Or [de]
which has to be changed to
Else the pages starting with wiki-net … should be renamed - for beauty’s sake (the strength of the wiki-net) and to make things work in French (another strength of the wiki-net). A few examples:
In German [de]
Nevertheless it should be changed to
In English [en]
Nevertheless it should be changed to
As in French [fr] neither
Instead it should be
I’ll send you a message in a bottle when I’m done.

campaign-wiki-planet
MattisManzel:
Alex is doing interesting stuff in the campaign-wiki-planet. As many times before I don’t understand. But the aggregations he creates feel like handled similar to the instant shared local names here, hm. I include into the local page 'wiki-net' - campaign-wiki-planet.

post to skype via ping.fm
Mattis Manzel:
Looking at the possibilities ping.fm offers - ping.fm is kind of the ignition distributor to pass changes to our soup further into multiple web-services - I realize that it has a posting with skype option. A very small number of people might forgive me when I try that out. Skype is not open source software.
Ok, that works, but not the way around I hoped it would. Instead I can send a text message from the skype account ‘wiki-net’ (WikiNetWiki) into ping.fm. I did actually send the text useless test message from skype - ‘wiki-net’ to see it work and deactivated the connection again. Probably the soup updates as text messages sent to the skype account might have made sense? The other way around it surely doesn’t.

inclusion of the hive-all-changes-feeds into the open-wiki
Mattis Manzel:
The open-wiki includes the hive-all-changes-feeds nicely

socnode / dango
Mattis Manzel:
Interesting and probably of use for the wiki-net. The page socnode.org - Why? sounds pretty wiki-netish to me. Probably that’s the wiki-node? At least as far as the name is concerned it would fit. Thanks RadomirDopieralski for the hint to socnode.org.

Might be worth an own page. Everybody’s bookmarks for any page in the ‘wiki-net’ - not only for the page front - face - would be better, actually.

Added hints for us, hint-feed.

The idea behind the wiki called 'wiki-net' is to create an entirely decentralized and community-based network of all wikis in wikilandia. All wikis means regardless of wiki software, language, point of view, etc.
The ‘wiki-net’ aims for one common global human thinking- and reflection-apparatus.

Added the section for the wiki-net net clips.

net clips by amplify.com and the twitterati badge
The wiki-net makes use of net clips by amplify.com and the twitterati badge.
Highlight what ever part of what ever web-site and include it with a click into a wiki page is what you can do having the Firefox amplify.com plugin installed. Examples: world-democracy-wiki - amplify.com world-democracy-wiki, hiv-wiki-en - amplify.com hiv-wiki-en.
The twitterati badge shows all messages of all follwers of the twitter account for a wiki and thus gives insight to what people are up to. Examples (down in the bar to the right, takes a while to load): carrotmob-wiki, Greenland-wiki, world-democracy-wiki.

ting, a day page set. To do.
Mattis Manzel:
Not to forget - there have been so many new discoveries almost every day recently - make ting a day page set. I uploaded the icons, the rest is to do.

Well, not quite all is to do, some is already on collab-editor-wiki - tings.

jabber / gTalk
Mattis Manzel:
It seems pretty obvious, just I don’t find the right settings yet. Add update@identi.ca to the buddy list of WikiNetWiki@gmail.com. I’ve done that, update@identi.ca is in there, the button is green. In the IM settings of identi.ca - 'wiki-net' add the mail address. Done. It says “Awaiting confirmation on this address. Check your Jabber/GTalk account for a message with further instructions. (Did you add update@identi.ca to your buddy list?)”. Yes. There is mail from update@identi.ca but the confirm link takes me to the google mail loging window. Logging in it says the link has expired.
Gotto look at this from outsides Linux. Your OS is not fully supported. Wtf.
Some trying out later: No success: 'wiki-net', Melbourne-wiki, Greenland-wiki.
Success: odd-wiki-list. Soup updates should be on jabber / gTalk OddWikiList@gmail.com. The odd-wiki-list has no facebook account (yet). The other three have one and they are connected to it. Maybe that’s the obstacle? Disconnecting them from their accounts though doesn’t help.
But logging in to identi.ca with facebook instead of the username does help. The Stuttgart-wiki supplies soup updates on jabber / gTalk, address StuttgartWiki@gmail.com.

naming pages
Mattis Manzel:
Sorry, but I have to explain that to myself.
Every wiki has a page full changes and wiki complete. They provide the full-changes-feed and the wiki-complete-feed. The soup groups: soup group - 'wiki-net', full changes and soup group - 'wiki-net' complete.
That applies also for the list-wiki of a hive.
odd-wiki-list - full changes and odd-wiki-list - wiki complete. The pages provide the odd-wiki-list - full-changes-feed and the odd-wiki-list - wiki-complete-feed. The soup groups: soup group - odd-wiki-list, full changes and soup group - odd-wiki-list complete.
The list-wiki in addition aggregates all wikis of the hive it sits in.
[[odd-wiki-list_-_hive,_all_full_pages?]] and odd-wiki-list - hive, all wikis complete. The pages provide the [[odd-wiki-all-full-pages-feed?]] and the odd-wiki-all-wikis-complete-feed. The soup groups: soup group - odd-wiki, full pages and soup group - odd-wiki, all wikis complete.
The whoRthey-wiki aggregates the list-wikis.
whoRthey-wiki - one big full change and whoRthey-wiki - one big wiki complete. The pages provide the one-big-full-change-feed and the one-big-wiki-complete-feed. The soup groups: soup group - one big full change and soup group - one big wiki complete.
The Mµ-feed #WikiNet provided by the soup group - Mµs tag WikiNet is read by feedburner. The result from feedburner (the settings to smart feed) is read by twitterfeed passing it on to identi.ca which passes it into twitter. The twitterfeed connections currently have been removed for house cleaning purposes.
I might take the detour via feedburner for all feeds.
In German:
Die soup groups: soup group - odd-wiki, all full changes und soup group - odd-wiki, all wikis complete.
Das whoRthey-wiki versammelt die Listen-wikis.
[[whoRthey-wiki_-_eine_grosse_ganze_Veränderung?]] und whoRthey-wiki - ein grosses wiki komplett. Die Seiten stellen das [[eine-grosse-ganze-Veränderung-feed?]] und das ein-grosses-wiki-komplett-feed bereit. Die soup groups: soup group - one big full change und soup group - one big wiki complete.

The idea behind the hiv-wiki-en is to provide a fully wiki-net enabled wiki in English for everything related to hiv like scientific articles or personal stories. The hiv-wiki-en also serves as a center-wiki for wikis and other web-sites about hiv.

google reader - ‘wiki-net’
Mattis Manzel:
Having been impressed by the google wave presentation I started playing with google. All feeds for the ‘wiki-net’, including Mµs #WikiNet and the net clips are included into google reader - 'wiki-net'. The feed http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/04111551298872066459/label/autoshared does not include into oddmuse (but it works nicely included into the friendfeed room - 'wiki-net'). I did use the scripts to include google feeds into a day-page on Greenland-wiki - talk and whoRthey-wiki - talk.
Our external links can be found on google profiles - 'wiki-net'.

inclusion of the identi.ca group - multilingual
Mattis Manzel:
I started the identi.ca group - multilingual and I’m including the feed for it into the page identi.ca group multilingual in the multlingual-wiki. Hmm.
