- “WhyWiki” is a WiP (Work in Progress ( in this case … Preparation)).
- 071031 - confirm if it is necessary to have SubPages for this topic that originate in Cd:WhyWiki
- 070430 - WhyPost - is a more general and hence more important question than WhyWiki.
- http://www.wikithat.com/ is at least a good source of information.
- 070219 the Atlassian site has some good material that I should at least review and summarize.
- 070212 phpBbForums re considered.
- This environment also provides some useful capabilities.
- distinguish resident “on-line” from “received” communications.
- Wiki technologies can be used to generate either of these, quite efficiently.
- Wx:HansWobbe … WxWikiServer becomes very efficient in situations where footnotes simplify navigation concerns.
- Material written in the WxWikiServer environment can be moved into this bliki
- IF (it has more than one Audinece that needs “pull” use)
- THEN a copy could exist here.

A few 'motivations' for wikiUse ...
Productivity:
- Wikis are a much more efficient way of generating HTML, than typing it.
- OnlyOnce? (Ww:OnceAndOnlyOnce) writing and LinkLanguage concepts dramatically reduce the effort needed to communicate effectively.
- TransClusion is a major benefit in generating content, that leads to bootstrapping a useful library of MicroContent.
- BackLinks and categories, as well as LinkLanguage, provide a type of Automated filing.

- Break out the Wiki components; Community, Content, Technology, …

- BlogUses being considered, include:
- “Talk pages that can be used for Wiki.Mail.
- “Blog” pages posted occassionally for particular Topics.
- RSS feed generation and WikiNet contributions, via TransClusion.
- Using this as an “attic” for material that is dated, or a bit off topic at cw:, or that experesses personal views that are not necessarily on interest to that community.
- The fact that the oddmuse markup displays remote images means that it should be easy to use this as a photoBlog, but only after confirming bandwidth costs.
- Cl:WhyWiki should be refined and integrated.
- Use of CSS. link to the local ZenGarden?
This “Bliki” (BLog + wIKI)is designed on the assumption that a user will create a mini-wiki of multiple pages. This is quite different from other wiki communities in which users are encouraged to have just a single HomePage. One result is that the structure of these pages can be quite different, since linked, smaller pages may be more effective than larger pages that need to have more internal structure.
… 070212 notes posted on Wc:LionKimbro …
I am striving to make my posting activities as efficient as I possibly can. (This is, of course, a direct result of my need to completely restructure the way I have been working for the past decade and a half, due to the loss of Ada.) Part of this process has caused me to review what I have been doing, with the result that I find I have been posting a lot of “variations” on a theme. It seems obvious to me that if I can really focus on “OnlyOnce?” practices, then I will be able to scavenge quite a bit of time and productivity. All in all, on the basis of what I know at this time, Wiki technologies are one of the most important aspects of my work. And Within these, TransClusion seems an obvious benefit. Hence, I am focusing more on writing in the bliki environment and then enhancing that environment to become an effective replacement of the others in which I also maintain an active presence.
I believe “Lists of Ideas” are also an invaluable component of all of this and will strive to maintain my personal views of these within my blicki (since that is currently the “public” environment that I believe I am most productive in.
