Hello, I am adding myself into this conversation because…well, because I can, because the doorway of this place seems to be open and welcoming, and what's going on here is inspiring and intriguing and giving me some new ways to think.
I am a devotee of the deep and loving effervescence that is known as AshleyCooper, as well as being a big admirer and even big lover of a number of the other Evolutionary Salon participants and hosts, and so have been following along with the Salon doings since hearing about the first one last year.
The main work that I'm currently involved in, that I think pertains to what you all are exploring, includes my livelihood practice of naturopathic and Chinese medicine as a member of a strongly intentional collaborative medical group (see http://oneskywellness.com); being a member of a spiritual community (http://betalef.org) that is learning ways to deepen our understanding and experience of ourselves and each other, and every other, as unique embodiments of a single Life--and how that experience mandates an activist response to the world around us; and as a member of the host team for the Imagine Cascadia project (see http://imaginecascadia.org).
One of my strongest perceptual lenses, the one I spend the most time polishing, is that of Chinese medicine as an opportunity to offer people alignment with the healthiest expression of the archetypal currents moving through their lives. We might call that "conscious evolution"; Chinese medicine sometimes calls that "destiny".
I am very appreciative and happy to have received an invitation to ES3 from Ashley--but, I do not feel inspired to accept the invitation and attend the event this time, and will try to write about why that I feel that way, sometime soon.
Welcome, Christy. :)
A brief note:
When you write something like "intentional collaborative medical group," you can do this:
[http://oneskywellness.com/ intentional collaborative medical group]
… and that will look like this: intentional collaborative medical group.
Again, welcome!
Ah, that's how you do that! Thanks, Lion, I'll play with that.
(interesting side note: I just popped by the the evo. nexus site, and there were 2 users and 31 guests…I wonder what that site would be like if guests were active participants?)
