Matis Mantsel: ÓKé, “w” kild. It’s viki.
MattisManzel: I recently found myself congratulating Hepi bö·ðei! and such. The Doitz-ainfac-wiki is progressing nicely, so I decided to start the same exercise in Englisch - in Ingliz-simpl. Just having a playgound to develop it counts at the moment. Trying it out counts. We might fail, sure. But you can’t tell unless you try.

I’d very much like to hear what developers of speech-to-text and text-to-speech software think bout an English-simple attempt. I’m sure it gets more easy - but to what degree? How much would databases shrink? What about precision of pronouncition? Is to achieve a precise pronounciation easier the classical way or is it easier with English-simple?
Ai’d veri matz laik tú hír uot díwelopers of spítz-tú-tekst end tekst-tú-spítz softuare ðink abaut èn Ingliz-simpl ètempt. Ai’m zúr it gets mór ísi - bat tú uot digrí? Hau matz uód databésis zrink? The open a misses, like in talk. to·k is wrong. å is the letter for it in scandinavian languages. Thus tå·k, Tå·kPeidzis.

for the open e it would be nice to have the e with a ring on like on å - but that doesn’t exist. So we could use è æ or œ instead - è seems best to me. [1]
