IdeaForIntelligence

idea for a better use of human intelligence

Friendly recommendation for a global system reboot
How to get mankind under one hat
by Mattis Manzel

This text was originally written in simmer 2003 on a geocities static-page and isn’t available there anymore.

I recently had the idea - and it desperately needs this – how the world is to be saved. It will require everybody’s help to do so, in particular the help of smart economy/bank-buddies and just as clever computer/network specialists. Good things take time.

Goal is to waken collective human intelligence and to create decentralised global democracy, a global eParliament and a global eCourt of Justice.
Goal is to displace the common currencies by an exclusively virtual currency - the eTerra.
Goal is peace on earth.

Entertaining Introduction with small pictures

OK. Us Homo sapiens, we’ great primates, but unfortunately we`re nuts. Our brain exploded, less than five minutes ago if you look at it from the evolutionary point of view.

We descended from the trees of Africa to the savannah and spread over the globe. On our way we invented tool, language, technology, culture. We spread up in differently developed subspecies of the prehistoric human. Our intelligence developed rapidly, and just as rapidly diminished our instincts.

We are (and we were) more clever than the other animals.

Long ago, very long ago, when it already started to get a bit tight on mother earth though, it happened, that individuals of the differently developed subspecies of the prehistoric human ate up one another. That’s when we began to be afraid of each other.

For a fox a fox is a fox - a rat is a rat for it. Its distinction border is the border between the species.

For us humans a person only then is real human, when this person belongs to the same group, to which we ourselves belong. For “group” we have many designations: ethnos, nation, race, faith, ideology, language, etc., etc.. We differentiate into groups.

To us applies: A fox, a rat or a human, which does not belong to our group (and therefore possibly wants to eat us), is not one of us. Our border is the group and not the species. The shock sits deep inside of us.

No other animal on earth does like that. This damage of the mind, a collateral damage, which occurred during the advanced explosion of our brain, makes up what humans are – from the early days of cannibalism `till today. It is reflected in the structure of the world we created ever since that time - with its national states, religions, economies, currencies, etc.. Our “former” cannibalism sleeps deep inside of us. It turns us into monsters, and we know that.

Will our intelligence be sufficient?

Often it does not look like.

But our intelligence and our intelligence only will be able to fix this - lost instincts won’t do it anymore (thinking about whether this is good or a pitty is irrelevant by the way).

So far we thought and acted in a

regional,

national,

in best case continental way.

Recently we developed the internet. It is the tool for global collective thinking and acting:

Regarding these brand-new circumstances I wonder if it wouldn’t be urgently the time to make up an idea how to solve this problem? The idea would have to be so good that the world would soon work on its implementation.
