IMGBurn : how to burn a dvd

- Select the Events tab. Tag ‘Save the log’, untag ‘Overwrite existing’ and specify the directory where you want to save the log. Press ‘Ok’ to save the settings.

- Select the source - the dvd you want to burn. Always select the .mds file, when present. This is important if you burn a DVD9. If the .mds file is not present, select the .iso file or .img file.

- Select the destination - the dvd-drive you want to burn the image with.

- Select the burn-speed; even though I have a 16X speed DVD-drive; I always burn on 4X speed.

- Select verify, to compare the read files with the written files after the disc is burned.

- Click on write to burn the DVD.

- An easier way to burn dvd’s, once it’s setup correctly, is to directly go to the directory containing the .mds and .iso file. Press right-click and select: burn using IMGBurn.
